On March 23, 2018 the South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs published in the South Carolina State Register revised amounts for certain dollar amounts promulgated under the South Carolina Consumer Protection Code (S.C. Code Ann. §§ 37-1-101 through 37-30-175), pursuant to Ibid. §§ 37-1-109 & 37-6-104(1)(e) (see 42 S.C. Reg. Issue No. 3, p. 7 [March 23, 2018]; available at: https://www.scstatehouse.gov/state_register.php). The new amounts will take effect on July 1, 2018.
