Over the past few years it has become increasingly common for clients to desire functionality that will allow borrowers to make check-box selections and fill out document information during the eSign process (frequently called “form-fill” functionality). Although we have customized many generic documents to allow clients to have this ability during eSign, at this point it has become more efficient to provide the eSign functionality to all clients, rather than continuing to make custom edits for specific clients.
Consequently, we have modified our Addendum to Loan Application, Cx13441, to allow all borrowers to mark the appropriate checkboxes during the eSign process. Note that this ability will only be applicable if the fields for the checkboxes are not populated AND the borrower uses eSign.
In the future, other generic documents will also be modified to permit the same capability, but only through the eSign platform, and only if the applicable fields are not otherwise populated. Each change will be announced prior to being in effect on Production servers.
