As previously announced, FNMA recently modified their “MERS® Mortgage Assignment (Maine)” (FNMA Form 3749), by modifying the definition of “Mortgage” within the document.
We have revised the “to MERS” version of Cx1529 (which is a duplicate of FNMA Form 3749) by revising said definition to state the following:
“’Mortgage’ means the mortgage assigned hereunder, namely that certain Mortgage, dated __________, from Borrower to Lender and recorded in the __________ County, Maine, Registry of Deeds, in book/volume number _____________, at page number _______________.”
