Cx2283 is a duplicate of form HUD-92564-CN, which is provided pursuant to the requirements of FHA Single Family Handbook 4000.1 II.A.1.a.ii(A)(4), II.A.8.a.xiv(B)(3), & A.9.k.ii.
Pursuant to our recurring audits of FHA forms, we will be updating Cx2283 to match the latest version of this form, available directly on HUD’s website at: https://www.hud.gov/sites/dfiles/OCHCO/documents/92564CN.pdf.
This form includes an area within the signature area where the borrower must circle either “I” or “We.” To accommodate this requirement, we will print either a circled image of “I” (if there is only one signatory to the form) or a circled image of “We” (if there are two signatories to a single form). If there are more than two borrowers, separate copies of Cx2283 will print for each pairing of borrowers.
To illustrate, if there are three borrowers, the first two will receive one copy of Cx2283 which will contain a circled “We” (since two borrowers will sign this copy). The third borrower will receive a second copy which will contain a circled “I” (because only one borrower will sign this copy).
