Compliance News: Understanding California’s 2026 ADMT Rules and How They Apply to Docutech

On April 29, 2021 Gov. Eric Holcomb (R) signed into law IN HB 1255 (2021) which amends a vast array of laws impacting notarial acknowledgments and proofs and the electronic recording of mortgages (starting from Section 37 of the bill). These amendments took effect upon passage.
We are currently reviewing these amendments to determine any impact, and evaluating any modifications, to our document library and/or systems. Any modifications we make as a result will be announced on our website (https://compliance.docutech.com/).
