Document Updates: Updates to Nonsupervised Lender’s Nomination and Recommendation of Credit Underwriter (Cx14217)

Cx14217, Nonsupervised Lender’s Nomination and Recommendation of Credit Underwriter is a direct copy of VA Form 26-8736a. The VA has updated the form, so we have updated Cx14217 to match the updates made by the VA.

The changes include:

• • Adding an expiration date of 9/30/2023 to the top of the form
  • Changing the link that appears in the second paragraph of the form to the correct current link
  • Changing section 4 to 4A, which asks for telephone number and adding section 4B which asks for email address
  • Italicizing instructions in section 5
  • Changing the word accredited to certified in section 6
  • Adding the words “sign in ink” to all signature fields. Note that the VA allows for e-signatures but doesn’t allow the words “sign in ink” to be removed from the form.
  • Adding mm/dd/yyyy to all date fields.
  • Changing the date on the bottom of the form from July 2007 to Sep 2020.
