Document Update: MT Acknowledgment that Real Property is Not Exempt From Execution (Cx1412)
Dec 21, 2022
As previously announced, MERS published an announcement on August 15, 2022 regarding its 22.2 release for the MERS System/Procedures. Included in their announcement was an update to the MERS physical address for Indiana, Mississippi, New York, and Pennsylvania. The address was revised from 1901 E Voorhees Street, Suite C, Danville, IL 61834 to 11819 Miami St., Suite 100, Omaha, NE 68164.
On November 30, 2022, Fannie Mae announced that the instructions to the Indiana, Mississippi, New York, and Pennsylvania security instruments (Forms 3015, 3025, 3033, and 3039) had been revised to update the MERS street address in paragraph 6(b) of the instructions. All changes in paragraph 6(b) have spelled out the word “Street” rather than using the abbreviation “St.” in the physical address “11819 Miami St.”
Consequently, the following documents have been updated from “St.” to “Street”, and various document cleanup has occurred to more closely conform with Fannie Mae’s complete definition of MERS:
Effective Date
The new address is triggered based on the new indicator “Print New MERS Physical Address” (Field 155962). The field is globally mapped to “Yes” to trigger the new address on Stage 1 and Stage 2 for testing. These changes will be in effect on Production on December 28, 2022.
