On January 17, 2023, the VA published VA Circular 26-23-3 and VA Circular 26-23-4 regarding revisions to VA Form 26-1820 “Report and Certification of Loan Disbursement”, the discontinuation of VA Form 26-1802a “HUD/VA Addendum to the Uniform Residential Loan Application”, and updates to VA Form 26-6393 “VA Loan Analysis”. All the changes described within the Circulars were to affect loan application dates of February 1, 2023, or after. The VA subsequently postponed the effective dates of VA Circular 26-23-3 and VA Circular 26-23-4 to April 1, 2023. Since these changes now apply to loan applications taken on 04/01/2023 and later, a new indicator has been created to trigger the necessary changes: “Print April 2023 ‘VA Loan Analysis’ and ‘Report and Certification of Loan Disbursement’” (Field 173305). This indicator defaults to ‘Yes’ via global standard value field mapping for loan application dates on and after 04/01/2023, and to ‘No’ otherwise. Clients can custom standard value map the field to ‘Yes’ under different conditions if they want the changes earlier, once the indicator is available on Production.
The new content in Cx52 and Cx5533 will trigger when “Print April 2023 ‘VA Loan Analysis’ and ‘Report and Certification of Loan Disbursement’” = ‘Yes’.
The two documents being retired (Cx55 and Cx20336) will only print when “Print April 2023 ‘VA Loan Analysis’ and ‘Report and Certification of Loan Disbursement’” = ‘No’.
