Document Updates: Updates to VA Form 26-1817 (Cx14056) and VA Form 26-8261a (Cx3953)

Pursuant to our monthly audit of Federal Agency forms and to match the model forms made available through https://www.va.gov/find-forms/, we will be making the following changes to Cx14056 and Cx3953:

Cx14056, VA Form 26-1817, VA Request for Determination of Loan Guaranty Eligibility.

• • Format has been updated to match most recent model document published by the VA.  The form dates on the form have not changed.

Cx3953, VA Form 26-8261a, Request for Certificate of Veteran Status.

• • Change the expiration date from “01/31/2023” to “02/28/2026”
  • Changed to revision date from “JUL 2017” to “FEB 2023”
  • Updated format to match model form
