Pursuant to our monthly audit of Federal Agency forms we have updated our HUD forms “For Your Protection: Get a Home Inspection” (Cx2283) and “Builder’s Certification of Plans, Specifications and Sites” (Cx3971). Both of these documents have new model forms, which our forms now mirror. The following changes have been made:
For Your Protection, Get a Home Inspection (Cx2283)
-
- Form has been updated to match the new model form
- Logic has been updated so the form only prints once. It previously had to be printed multiple times when the borrower(s) was required to sign the form
Builder’s Certification of Plans, Specifications and Sites (Cx3971)
-
- Multiple colons and other punctuation was added throughout
- IECC (International Energy Conservation Code) was changed to Meets or exceeds IECC (International Energy Conservation Code) 2009
- The wording on page three, Instructions for Builder’s Certification, form HUD-92541 has been updated to match the changes to the wording on the model form
These changes will be in effect on August 10, 2023. If you have any questions of concerns about these changes, please contact Client Support at 1.800.497.3584.
