Document Updates: Updates to Manufactured Home Affixation Affidavit for Georgia (Cx43 & Cx27577)

We previously updated our Georgia version of Cx43, Manufactured Home Affixation Affidavit, to print the Georgia Form T-234, Mobile-Manufactured Home Certificate of Permanent Location, in place of the generic non-state specific language.

We originally made this change to follow our general policy to utilize state model forms whenever possible. However,  after reviewing the changes further it was determined that Georgia Form T-234 may not technically meet the GSE requirements for an Affidavit of Affixture because it is not in the form of an affidavit.  See FNMA Selling Guide B5-2-05.

Therefore, we will now utilize our standard Affidavit of Affixation (Cx43) for GA manufactured housing loans.  We have also created Form T-234 Mobile-Manufactured Home Certificate of Permanent Location (Cx27577) as an additional document that can be printed for Georgia manufactured home loans upon request.

These changes are available for testing on Stage & Stage 2 servers and will take effect on June 11, 2024. If you have any questions or concerns about these changes, please contact Client Support at 1.800.497.3584.
