Notary Update – South Dakota

We have updated the South Dakota Notary for Remote Online Notarizations (RON) to match the model form found in the South Dakota Notary Public Handbook. The notary block now includes the remote location of the signer as well as wording that indicates the Notary was performed using a tamper-evident electronic notarization system. We have updated both acknowledgments and jurats for all instances of Remote Online Notarization.

    • FHA SD Mortgage (Cx19399)
    • 3732 FNMA Renovation Loan Rider to Security Instrument (Cx22294)
    • 3731 FNMA Renovation Loan Agreement (Cx22295)
    • 3735 FNMA Construction Loan Agreement (Cx22651)
    • 3737 FNMA Construction Loan Rider to Security Instrument (Cx22653)
    • Community Land Trust Ground Lease Rider (Cx23607)
    • 3042 SD Mortgage 2021 (Cx25320)
    • FHA SD Mortgage 2021 (Cx26159)

The following jurats have also been updated to match the current statutes:

    • Signature/Name Affidavit (Cx865)
    • Signature/Name Affidavit (NPE) (Cx7965)
