Topics: Document Updates

The California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation recently announced that its Sacramento Office has been relocated, and all mail should be directed to:

651 Bannon Street, Suite 300
Sacramento, CA 95811

Consequently, Cx991 “CA Fair Lending Notice” and Cx16170 “CA Fair Lending Notice” have been updated to print the new CA DFPI address when:

(For Cx991) Field 18205 “Lender Is A Broker” = No

OR

(For Cx16170) Field 51790 “California License Type (Lender)” is one of the following:

      • Not Selected
      • CA Residential Mortgage Lending Act
      • CA Financing Law
      • State/National Bank, CU, S&L, or ILC

The five office addresses for the California Department of Real Estate will continue to print in both Cx991 and Cx16170 when:

(For Cx991) Field 18205 “Lender Is A Broker” = Yes

OR

(For Cx16170) Field 51790 “California License Type (Lender)” = CA Real Estate Law

Note that the above logic will only apply to cx991 when the “Regulator Agency” series of fields are NOT being populated. If the “Regulator Agency” fields are being populated for the regulator name and address, they will be used instead.

The new CA DFPI address has also been updated in Cx886 “CA Notice to Cosigner.” Additionally, the revision date of 03/25 and the California State Seal have been updated to match Model Form DFPI-SB 633A.

These changes are available for testing on Stage & Stage 2 servers and will take effect on May 7, 2025. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Client Support at 1.800.497.3584.
