Document Updates: Maryland Deed of Trust Second (Cx487)

Previously we announced that we updated our Maryland first lien security instruments to print “Purchase Money” in the title if Loan Purpose was set to ‘Purchase’ or “Print ‘Purchase Money’ in the Security Doc Title” (FI 48407) was set to ‘Yes’. We are updating our Cx487 (MD Deed of Trust Second) to have the same logic. (Previously, “Purchase Money” would only print if the Loan Purpose was set to “Purchase.”)

These changes are available for testing on Stage & Stage 2 servers and will take effect on June 24, 2025. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Client Support at 1.800.497.3584.
