Document Update: Derivation Clause for Kentucky Mortgage Second (Cx484)

For Cx484 “KY Mortgage Second,” clients now have the option to reference the deed instrument number instead of the deed book number and deed page number.

When “Derivation Clause Recording” (FI 1174) is set to “Use Instrument,” the following will print in the section after the property address:

• “deed dated __________ of record under Instrument No. [“Derivation Recording Instrument Number” (FI 624)] __________”

Otherwise, the existing information will continue to print:

• “deed dated __________ of record in Deed Book [“Derivation Recording Book Number” (FI 623)] __________, page [“Derivation Recording Page Number” (FI 625)] __________”

These changes are available for testing on Stage & Stage 2 servers and will take effect on August 21, 2025. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Client Support at 1.800.497.3584.
