Document Update: Manufactured Home Affixation Affidavit — Cx43 Rider and New Cx28947 Standalone

The Manufactured Home Affixation Affidavit documents that a manufactured home is affixed to the land and helps support recording requirements and establish the structure as part of the real property. Based on client requests and feedback from certain county recorders, we updated our documents so the affidavit can print either as an “Other Rider” to the Security Instrument or as a separate, standalone, recordable document. Using the new field trigger FI 194028 (“Manufactured Home Affidavit is Rider to Security Instrument”), the system will generate either Cx43 (rider) or Cx28947 (standalone), depending on the value provided.

The global standard value mapping for FI 194028 defaults to:

• States other than TN: “Yes” (prints Cx43)
• TN: “No” (prints Cx28947)

All custom configuration settings currently available for Cx43 are also available for Cx28947 for all clients, including:

• Print conditions (including Do Not Print)
• Document signing type (including Ink Sign and Override Ink Sign for RON)
• Alternate document name and custom identifier
• Alternate packages
• Document stacking order
• Document filtering
