On July 16, 2025, the Colorado Board of Mortgage Loan Originators held a Regular Meeting and Rule-Making Hearing regarding Chapter 5: Professional Standards of the Rules Governing Mortgage Loan Originators (4 CCR 725-3).
During this meeting, the Board voted to repeal Rule 5.7(b), which previously required Mortgage Loan Originators to document in writing the borrower’s reason for seeking a loan. As a result, Docutech will retire form Cx12874 “CO Reason for Loan.”
Cx12874 will continue to generate for clients who maintain custom configurations.
These changes are available for testing on Stage and Stage 2 servers and will take effect on November 4, 2025. If you have any questions or concerns about these changes, please contact Client Support at 1.800.497.3584.
