Document Updates: Cx13029 NE Notice to Cosigner

Docutech is updating Cx13029 (NE Notice to Cosigner) to replace the statutory reference to Neb. Rev. Stat. § 45-1053 with Neb. Rev. Stat. § 45-355.

LB 474 transferred provisions of the Nebraska Installment Loan Act to the Nebraska Installment Loan and Sales Act and repealed the former act. The substantive requirements did not change.

The sample form currently posted by the Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance still references the former statute, NRS § 45-1053. To reflect the current law, Cx13029 (NE Notice to Cosigner) has been updated to reference the new statute, NRS § 45-355.

This update is limited to the statutory citation; no other changes were made to the notice, and no client action is required.
