Document Updates: “Non-Permanent Resident Alien” Selection on 1003 Uniform Residential Loan Application 1/2021 (Cx20667 and Cx20668)

In accordance with W. Va. Code § 39-1-2, witness signatures are not required on a security instrument if the document is properly notarized. Additionally, Fannie Mae’s instructions for the West Virginia Security Instrument permit the removal of witness signature lines when not needed.
To support this flexibility, Docutech has updated the following documents:
These documents have been enhanced to allow suppression of the Witness lines by setting “Print Witness Lines on Security Instrument” (FI 95509) to “No”.
