Document Updates: New VA Services Loan Counseling Disclosure for New York (Cx26686)

As previously announced, New York State Assembly Bill A9493A adds a new disclosure requirement for VA loan counseling. This act is effective April 15, 2023.

To comply with this disclosure requirement, a new document has been created as Cx26686 – NY VA Services Loan Counseling Disclosure, based on the language in NY Banking Law § 6-p, NY Executive Law § 354-f, and NY Veterans’ Services Law § 29-a.

Cx26686 will print when:

Base Type (2274) = VA

State Code (2279) = New York

Document Package Type (18215) = Initial Disclosure

Effective Date
