We are making updates to the Illinois Pledged Time Deposit Account Disclosure (Cx1014) and Illinois Pledged Time Deposit Account Disclosure – Example (Cx14180).
Pursuant to 765 ILCS 910/6 and Ill. Admin. Code tit. 38, § 1050.1110(f), applicable borrowers are provided information regarding the option to pledge an interest-bearing time deposit in lieu of establishing an escrow account.
Cx14180 is provided in Initial Disclosure packages as an example of Cx1014, which is provided at Closing. To better reflect the purpose of each document, we are making the following updates:
- Cx14180 – IL Pledged Time Deposit Account Disclosure – Example: We are updating the standard signature configuration for Cx14180 to better reflect its purpose as an example of the disclosure that will be completed at Closing. Language has also been added to the signature section to clarify that signatures are not required on the example document.
- Cx1014 – IL Pledged Time Deposit Account Disclosure: Electronic fill fields will be added to the applicable selections so the disclosure may be completed at Closing.
- Cx1014 and Cx14180: Both documents will be updated to use checkboxes for the applicable selections and to remove the form identifier currently appearing in the footer.
Important: This update will not change existing customized signature configurations for Cx14180.
These updates do not change the circumstances under which Cx1014 or Cx14180 are provided.
These changes are available for testing on Stage and Stage 2 servers and will take effect on September 22, 2026.
