If dates are not imported or entered into ConformX for the “Year or period requested” section of IRS Forms 4506 “Request for Copy of Tax Return” and 4506-T “Request for Transcript of Tax Return”, the first two dates are defaulted to the last two years of tax returns. These two dates are currently defaulted to “12/31/2011” and “12/31/2010”. Now that the 2012 federal income tax return filing deadline has passed, it’s time to update the two defaulted Tax Return End Dates.
Effective April 25, 2013, “Requested Tax Return 1 End Date” will be defaulted to “12/31/2012” and “Requested Tax Return 2 End Date” will be defaulted to “12/31/2011”. These changes will not change any custom values set for this area for specific clients and will not override any imported values.
