The Federal National Mortgage Association (FNMA) publishes uniform notes, security instruments, and other legal documents for use by lenders in order to sell their loans to FNMA. Among these documents is a uniform “Texas Home Equity Note Fixed-Rate – First Lien” promissory note (FNMA Form 3244.1).
We provide a duplicate of this form (Cx6173). Pursuant to our policy of following official and model forms as close as possible, we will be switching placement of the “Witness the Hand(s) and Seal(s) of the Undersigned” signature recital with the notice concerning blanks in the document, to make Cx6173 match FNMA Form 3244.1 closer.
