Cx349, 402, and 507 have been updated to display the NMLS number on the top of the first page of the instrument only if the application date of the loan is before 01/10/2014. The NMLS number is required to be on the instrument by S.C. Code Ann. § 37-22-210(F). Eventually all security instruments will include the NMLS numbers in the footer per the new CPFB requirements, if the appropriate information is supplied and if field 67280 “Application Taken On or After 01/10/2014” equals Yes. In the interim, we are keeping the NMLS number at the top of the first page for loans that have application dates prior to 1/10/2014, in order to comply with the South Carolina statutory requirements.
