Cx10515 is a duplicate of FNMA Form 3179, as published on FNMA’s website (https://www.fanniemae.com/singlefamily/special-purpose-documents).
After a review of this document, we will be updating it to more closely match Form 3179, as well as to support two “Authorized Changes” as set forth in the Summary to Form 3179. To wit:
1. The revision date will be changed from “1/09” to “6/12.”
2. A new paragraph (f), concerning the assignment of leases, will print if :
a. “Property Type” equals either “2 unit/duplex” or “3+ unit;” or
b. “Occupancy” equals “Investment.”
3. A new paragraph (f) (or [g], if the paragraph concerning the assignment of leases prints), concerning MERS, will print if “MERS” equals “Yes.”
4. The signature line for MERS will be replaced below the borrower’s signature line and the caption for such will be reworded from “Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc.” to “Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc. Nominee for Lender.”
