In 2012, Washington’s Legislature changed their laws concerning the delivery of the WA Disclosure Summary so that providing the disclosures required under RESPA and TILA fulfills the requirements of Wash. Rev. Code Ann. § 19.144.020 and can be used in lieu of the Disclosure Summary (see our announcement concerning this at http://www.docutechcorp.com/configuration-changes-wa-disclosure-summary-cx13539).
While most of our clients have opted to follow this alternative, there are a few who still provide the Disclosure Summary. Pursuant to directions from the Department of Financial Institutions on their website (http://www.dfi.wa.gov/banks/forms.htm), we will be reverting back to the 2008-version of this form from the 2010-version which is currently being used.
