Pursuant to a review of Michigan recording requirements, we will be updating our Michigan version of the Manufactured Housing Limited Power of Attorney (Cx 6874).
Mich. Comp. Laws Ann. § 565.201(1)(f)(i) provides that in order for an instrument executed after April 1, 1997 to be recorded, each sheet of the instrument must have a margin of unprinted space that is at least 2-1/2 inches at the top of the page and at least ½ inch on all remaining sides of the page.
To better ensure compliance with Michigan recording requirements, we will be moving the “Prepared by” and “Return to” sections that previously printed at the top of the document, to the end of the document—similar to our other MI security instruments.
