Our Cx3442 is largely a duplicate of FNMA Form 3185 (Texas Home Equity Affidavit and Agreement First Lien), with some minor differences due to software capabilities. One of these differences includes the format of the signature lines under which, in Form 3185, the caption “(Borrower or Owner or Spouse of Owner)” prints.
We will be printing the caption “Borrower or Owner or Spouse of Owner:” before the signature lines, in order to fulfill the intent of the captions which is to specify exactly who should be signing this document.
Similarly, our Cx13569 is largely a duplicate of the Model Guidance Document published on the Maine Revenue Services website (http://www.maine.gov/revenue/propertytax/municipalservices/buyersandsellers/buyersandsellers.htm) provided pursuant to the provisions of 2008 Me. Legis. Serv. 687, § 2. However, the caption “Seller:” and “Buyer:” do not appear directly to the left of the accompanying signature lines, but rather substantially appears directly to the left of the signatory’s name, which prints directly under the corresponding signature line.
To make our form more similar to the Model Guidance Document, we will be printing the “Seller:” and “Buyer:” captions before each seller- and borrower-series of signature lines (respectively).
