VA Circular 26-14-33 (http://www.benefits.va.gov/homeloans/documents/circulars/26_14_33.pdf) notifies that the Department of Veterans Affairs will start requiring the use of National Pest Management Association (NPMA) forms rather than National Pest Control Association (NPCA) forms by January 1, 2015.
Since the National Pest Control Association changed its name to National Pest Management Association in 1999, the Department of Housing and Urban Development changed form HUD-NPCA-1 to HUD-NPMA-33 (Wood Destroying Insect Inspection Report) in September 2004, and forms HUD-NPCA-99a and HUD-NPCA-99b to HUD-NPMA-99-A (Subterranean Termite Soil Treatment Builder’s Guarantee) and HUD-NPMA-99-B (New Construction Subterranean Termite Soil Treatment Record), respectively, in August 2008.
Because the name “National Pest Control Association” is obsolete, all generic and custom ConformX documents containing references to NPCA have been updated to reflect NPMA in conformance with VA Circular 26-14-33.
These document changes will take effect on January 1, 2015. If you have any questions or concerns about these changes, please contact Client Support at 1.800.497.3584.
