These three documents are provided pursuant to the provisions of Or. Rev. Stat. Ann. § 86A.198, which requires translated versions of the Good Faith Estimate, TIL Disclosure, and a general disclosure to be provided to borrowers “in the language other than English in which a substantial portion of the communication that is related to the transaction takes place.”
The Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services provides translated versions of these documents on their website, in “the three languages other than English that are most commonly spoken in [Oregon]” (Ibid. § 86A.198[3]), which are Russian, Spanish, and Vietnamese.
While ConformX does not currently support the fonts necessary to reproduce Russian or Vietnamese characters, it does support Latin-based languages like Spanish, which enables us to provide duplicates of the Department’s Spanish documents. Since these documents were revised recently by the Department, we have modified our documents accordingly and will now be making them available to print under the following conditions:
- Document Package Type = Either:
- Initial Disclosure (all three documents); and
- TILA Redisclosure (Cx15658 only)
- HELOC = No
- Print GFE = Either:
- Yes (Cx15656); or
- Allow Any (Cx15657 & 15658)
- State Code = Oregon
- Use Spanish Docs? = Yes
