These documents are duplicates of former FHLMC Forms 5206 (Cx4047), 5506 (Cx4067), 5507 (Cx4947), and 5537 (Cx4066), which are no longer published on FHLMC’s website. Like other FHLMC notes, there is special late charge language which prints when the loan secures property located in West Virginia (see “Authorized Changes to Notes”; http://www.freddiemac.com/singlefamily/guide/).
Unlike the language used in other FHLMC notes, these four documents currently authorize a late charge to be assessed on the overdue payment, rather than on a portion of the overdue payment. In order to be consistent, we will be revising this special text to instead state the following:
“The amount of the charge will be X% of that portion of the installment of principal and interest that is overdue, but not more than U.S. $X.”
