As previously announced in August, FNMA published a new version of FNMA Form 3049, which caused us to update our standard conventional and FHA West Virginia security instruments to match the revised form (see http://www.docutechcorp.com/document-changes-wv-deed-of-trust-cx359 for details).
In late September, FNMA Selling Notice 09-29-15 was issued, informing lenders that the version previously announced had been further revised and that “lenders must not use the July 2015 version of the form and instead must use the version with a revision date of August 2015.”
Accordingly, we are revising Cx359 and Cx19406 to reflect the August 2015 revisions. Also, we previously announced that we had contacted FHA concerning a seeming conflict between one of FHA’s model clauses and West Virginia law. We received verbal feedback from FHA stating that they do not believe such a conflict exists, therefore FHA’s model clause will continue to print in Cx19406.
These changes will take effect on October 13, 2015. If you have any questions or concerns about this change, please contact Client Support at 1.800.497.3584.
