The revised HUD/VA Addendum to Uniform Residential Loan Application (Cx20336) is now available for testing on ConformX Stage servers. This new document is a duplicate of updated HUD-92900-A, announced in FHA Mortgagee Letter 2016-06, which is required for loans with FHA case number assignment dates on or after August 1, 2016.
General notes:
- A copy of new Cx20336 will print on Stage per corresponding FNMA 1003 for loans with an FHA Case Number Assignment Date (field 42450) on or after August 1, 2016 in Closing, Initial Disclosure, Processing, and Underwriting document packages.
- Arial font will be used on Cx20336 to better match the original copy, and the ConformX document type will be “HUD/VA Addendum to URLA”.
- In the future, before the new document is moved to ConformX Production, existing copies of HUD-92900-A (including standard Cx3981) will be triggered to only print for FHA loans if the FHA Case Number Assignment Date is prior to August 1, 2016. The timing of these changes will be announced a week before they are moved to Production.
- Some of the custom document modifications from existing copies of HUD-92900-A applicable to the new version have been moved over for client convenience. Please review the document carefully to make sure the customizations copied to Cx20336 fit your needs.
Specific field items:
- If the question in section 22a, “Do you own or have you sold other real estate within the past 60 months on which there was a HUD/FHA mortgage?” is marked “No” using FHA Mortgage Within Past 60 Months (field 5998), then the next question “Is it to be sold?” will mark the new “NA” checkbox option.
- The “Occupancy: HUD Only” checkboxes in section 25, part 2 will be checked for FHA loans based on Occupancy (field 1161).
- New VA checkboxes e and f in section 25, part 2 will be checked based on existing fields currently used on the ConformX version of VA Form 26-1820 Report and Certification of Loan Disbursement (Cx52): VA – Dependent Child Intends to Occupy Property (Veteran on Active Duty) (field 57730) and VA – Dependent Child Previously Occupied Property (Veteran on Active Duty) (field 57731).
- A new checkbox labeled “All conditions of Approval have been satisfied” on page 3 will be checked if existing FHA/VA Risk Classification (field 35823, which is also used on the current form) is set to Approve or Refer. New HUD/FHA Direct Endorsement All Conditions of Approval Satisfied (field 102189) will be available if clients choose to check this new checkbox independently from FHA/VA Risk Classification.
- Loan Officers Name (field 1057) and Loan Officers Title (field 60415) will be used by default in the Mortgagee signature areas, and will only print in the “accept” section of page 3 if FHA/VA Risk Classification is set to Approve.
- Underwriter Name (field 8224) and HUD MCAW – CHUMS ID Number (field 38864) will be used by default in the Underwriter signature areas, and will only print in the applicable section of page 3 based on FHA/VA Risk Classification.
