Upon a standard review of our document library, we have updated IRS Form W-8BEN “Certificate of Foreign Status of Beneficial Owner For United States Tax Withholding” (Cx7938), to better align with the model form provided by the IRS.
The slight modifications to the document included an updated July, 2017 revision date and a change to the sentence that lists the website address near the top of the form (Changed From: Information about Form W-8BEN and its separate instructions is at www.irs.gov/formw8ben To: Go to www.irs.gov/FormW8BEN for instructions and the latest information).
