Report and Certification of Loan Disbursement, VA Form 26-1820 (our Cx52), is provided pursuant to 38 CFR § 36.4303 and VA Lender’s Handbook, ch. 3, 5-I, ch. 5, 4-j & 5-a, & ch. 6, 2-c. At the top of this document, a creditor is required to mark that the loan is being approved either by the “Automatic Procedure” or “Prior Approval Procedure” (for details about these procedures, see Ibid. ch. 1, 1-h & 1-i).
Currently, these selections are marked based on the option selected in Field Index 2202 (VA – Procedure Type). One of these options was not causing a selection to be made. We are fixing this issue so that when the following option is selected, the following selection is made:
- Automatic (“Automatic Procedure”)
- Automatic Procedure (“Automatic Procedure”)
- PriorApproval (“Prior Approval Procedure”)
- AUTO-IRRRL (“Automatic Procedure”)
