# New Field Mapping and Configuration Update: Print 1003 Demographic Information Addendum

“Print 1003 Demographic Information Addendum” (field 108997) is used in ConformX to trigger the 1003 Demographic Information Addendum (Cx20787) and Spanish Translation Aid 1003 Demographic Information Addendum (Cx20788). These documents are provided to enable financial institutions to collect information required under the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (“HMDA”) and Equal Credit Opportunity Act (“ECOA”). Although the mandatory effective date is approaching, the document print trigger “Print 1003 Demographic Information Addendum” (field 108997) is not always getting set. Therefore, a global field mapping will be applied to “Print 1003 Demographic Information Addendum” to default the field to “Yes” if it is not set and the Application Date (field 147) is on or after January 1, 2018. If the Application Date is empty, Today’s Date (field 15408) will be used in this logic instead.
“Print 1003 Loan Application” (field 99880) is used as a print trigger for the 1003 Uniform Residential Loan Application (Cx4193). In conjunction with the new global mapping on “Print 1003 Demographic Information Addendum”, the print conditions on the 1003 Demographic Information Addendum and Spanish Translation Aid 1003 Demographic Information Addendum will be modified to only print by default if “Print 1003 Loan Application” is also set to “Yes”. This addition will allow the “Print 1003 Demographic Information Addendum” field to be defaulted to “Yes” based on Application Date, while limiting the triggering of the Addendum to only those document packages in which the 1003 is printing.
These changes are now available in the Stage test environment, and will be reflected in ConformX Production on December, 20 2017. If you have any questions or concerns about these changes, please contact Client Support at 1.800.497.3584.
