Compliance News: Understanding California’s 2026 ADMT Rules and How They Apply to Docutech
Oct 15, 2018
Back in May of this year, the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) published their “Language Access Multi-Year Plan” for providing support to borrowers with limited English proficiency (“LEP”; see our announcement about this event at: https://compliance.docutech.com/2018/05/10/compliance-news-fhfa-outlines-plans-for-language-access-support/).
Today, the FHFA announced the launch of their new “Mortgage Translations” page (https://www.fhfa.gov/MortgageTranslations), which includes a copy of the “Language Translation Disclosure”. This document discloses helpful information to borrowers in Chinese, English, Korean, Spanish, Tagalog, and Vietnamese.
We are currently reviewing this change to determine any impact to our document library and/or systems and evaluating any necessary changes. Any modifications we make will be announced on our website (https://compliance.docutech.com/).
