Some minor updates have been made to our forms Cx995 MI Principal Residence Exemption (PRE), Cx996 MI Property Transfer Affidavit, and Cx997 MI Request to Rescind Principal Residence Exemption (PRE).
These updates are made pursuant to published revisions to Tax forms 2368, MI Principal Residence Exemption (PRE), our Cx995, and MI Tax Form 2602, MI Request to Rescind Principal Residence Exemption (PRE), our Cx997. These revisions updated the phone number for the Michigan Department of Treasury to 517-335-7487.
Additionally, a typographical error was corrected on Tax Form 2766, MI Property Transfer Affidavit, our form Cx996, updating the citation under Excerpts from Michigan Compiled Laws (MCL), Chapter 211 correcting the citation from Section 211.27a(7)(t) to Section 211.27a(7)(u)
