Document Updates: Power of Attorney Change for Signature/Name Affidavit (Cx865)

We have made slight updates to the fields that are associated with our Signature/Name Affidavit (Cx865) when it pertains to power of attorney. We are adding logic to the borrower copy, Cx865, to append the applicable “Borrower [x] Power of Attorney Verbiage” field (Fl 183, 203, 223, and 243) after the associated “Borrower [x] Power of Attorney Name” field.  This means that Borrower having an individual with Power of Attorney signing the document will see the POA name AND capacity as “John Smith, Attorney In Fact”, as long as the “borrower [x] Power of Attorney verbiage” field is populated. Our NPE copy, Cx7965, already has this functionality.
