We are pleased to announce that the eSignature problem in the “Signature for Line 1a (see instructions)” or “Spouse’s signature (required if listed on Line 2a)” boxes on the new forms have been corrected in the last ConformX/Solex software release, and the signature size has been modified to fit in the allotted clean copy area. Consequently, the **eSign** clean copy version of these 4506-C documents is now available for testing and will be available on Production Servers on February 15, 2023. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Client Support at 1.800.497.3584. *DR-139908* **Update**: Please note that the Instructions on page 2 of the 4506-C say, in part: “Ensure that all applicable lines, including lines 5a through 8, are completed before signing.” Our document logic will check these three fields to see if sections 5 through 8 are going to be eSigned: - FI 156025 “4506 eSign Behavior – All Sections” - FI 156027 “4506 eSign Behavior – Recipient Information (Section 5)” - FI 156028 “4506 eSign Behavior – Request Information (Sections 6 – 8)” If any of these fields are “Yes” and the clean version of the 4506-C is set to be eSigned, we will print the coversheet and add a Lender eSignature to it, even if the coversheet is set to not print (controlled using FI 156024 “4506 Print Coversheet”). This logic is in place to ensure that the Borrower does not sign an incomplete document contrary to the 4506-C instructions.
