Cx26687 – VA form 26-1880 Request for a Certificate of Eligibility is used to determine whether a prospective borrower qualifies for VA benefits. Upon submission of the request, the VA will issue a certificate of eligibility.
We have enhanced the functionality on this form in Section III Items 14A-16A. In the “Previous VA Loans” section, the form states that if additional space is needed for all homes use “Item 18, Remarks or attach a separate sheet”. Items 14A-16A provide space for 3 previous loans and lenders would need to manually input the additional previous loans in the “Item 18, Remarks” section. We will now be using a separate sheet if there are more than 3 up to 6 previous loans sent to us in the payload.
