# Document Updates: Multi-Doc Collection Changes for Social Security Number Verification SSA-89 (Cx5579)

Docutech is adding functionality to support alternate configurations for our copy of the SSA-89 Social Security Number Verification form (Cx5579). This change came about because some clients requested functionality to independently control whether copies of the SSA-89 for specific Borrowers are included or excluded in the package. Consequently, we are adding new fields to the Multi-Doc Collection functionality that prints our Cx5579. **Note that the logic will remain the same as it is today unless the new fields are set.**
New Fields
The new fields that allow control over the SSA-89 print are:
- Print Borrower 1 SSA-89 (FI 187567)
- Print Borrower 2 SSA-89 (FI 187568)
- Print Borrower 3 SSA-89 (FI 187569)
- Print Borrower 4 SSA-89 (FI 187570)
Modified Multi-Doc Collection (MDC)
The MDC is being changed such that, if one of the new fields above is set to Yes, the corresponding copies will print for that Borrower. If the indicator is set to No, the corresponding copies will not print for that Borrower. If the indicator is not set, the *existing* MDC logic will be used to determine whether the copies print or not.
These new fields and the modified MDC will be in place on Production servers on December 27, 2023 and are on Stage 1 and 2 servers now for testing. If you have any questions or concerns about these changes, please contact Client Support at 1.800.497.3584.
