Document Updates: California Earthquake Insurance for Condominiums Disclosure (Cx998)

After a document library audit, Docutech has reevaluated its interpretation of Cal. Civ. Code §2955.1(c) which states:

“The disclosure required by this section shall be made in writing by the lender as soon as reasonably practicable.”

Without a specific directive for a lender signature, Docutech is removing the following signature fields in Cx998 “California Earthquake Insurance for Condominiums Disclosure” by default:

Field 1057       Loan Officers Name
Field 1164       Corporate Officer Full Name – First Officer
Field 6887       Loan Originator Name
Field 7029       Broker Name
Field 27017     Interviewer’s Name
Field 18378     Lender Officer 1 First Name
Field 18380     Lender Officer 1 Middle Name
Field 18382     Lender Officer 1 Last Name

Cx998 has also been reformatted to more closely mirror the language in Cal. Civ. Code §2955.1(a) & (b).
