Cx22 is a duplicate of IRS Form W-9 (available directly at: https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw9.pdf?). The instructions to Line 5 of this form state the following:
“Enter your address (number, street, and apartment or suite number). This is where the requester of this Form W-9 will mail your information returns. If this address differs from the one the requester already has on file, write NEW at the top. If a new address is provided, there is still chance the old address will be used until the payor changes your address in their records.”
As an enhancement to Cx22, we will be changing the logic of the document to use borrower-level “1003 Borrower Mailing” fields, if they contain values (thus the address of each individual borrower will print on each copy of the form). If these fields do not have any values, then the fields currently used for populating this information will be used (i.e., for non-primary residences, loan-level “Borrower Mailing” fields will be used; for all other residence types, “Property Address” fields are used).
These changes will take effect on June 22, 2018. If you have any questions or concerns about these changes, please contact Client Support at 1.800.497.3584.
