Under TRID, a written list of providers is required to be provided “if the consumer is permitted to shop for a settlement service” (12 CFR § 1026.19[e][1][vi][C]). This implicitly means that if no services are listed in Section C of the LE (“Services You Can Shop For”), a written list of providers is not required to be provided.
Due to this, we have created a new field entitled “Print Written List of Service Providers” (Field 98475) which will be used as part of the print configurations for our new “Written List of Providers” (Cx19204). By default, this field will be set to “Yes” if field “Required Service Provider 1 Name” (Field 6774) has a value, and set to “No” if Field 6774 does not have a value.
In the August 2015 (4.6.0) ConformX software release, “Print Written List of Service Providers” will only be set to “Yes” if at least one of the services for one of the providers listed on the Written List of Providers is marked as shoppable, and “No” otherwise.
This change will take effect on July 21, 2015. If you have any questions or concerns about this change, please contact Client Support at 1.800.497.3584.
