Document Updates: Adding Field 154336 “Broker Doing Business as Other – Description” to Various State Broker Documents (Cx1908, Cx3318, Cx4248, and Cx4828)

Topics: Document Updates

We have made an update to several documents to add the field FI 154336 “Broker Doing Business as Other – Description” as a default option. Previously clients would select from an enumerated field, FI 50908 “Broker is Doing Business As”. However, we have learned that some clients would like to pass their own text data for this field. We have configured documents that include this field to use FI 154336 by default if it is populated; if FI 154336 is not sent, the documents will use the enumerated field 50908 as they do now.

The following documents have had this adjustment made:

  • Cx1908 IL Loan Brokerage Disclosure Statement
  • Cx3318 LA Loan Brokerage Agreement and Disclosure Statement
  • Cx4248 KS Loan Broker Disclosure
  • Cx4828 LA Mortgage Loan Origination Agreement

In addition to this field change, we have also added a few default fields to Cx3318 LA Loan Brokerage Agreement and Disclosure Statement to improve functionality. The following fields have been added:

  • FI 40244 “Name(s) under which Broker has done, is doing, or intends to do business”
  • FI 40245 “Name(s) of any parent organization or affiliate of Broker”
  • FI 6713 “Loan Originator/Broker Compensation Percent”
  • FI 187557 “Broker Surety Company Name” – if has value, check box
  • FI 104236 “Trust Account Number” – if has value, check box
  • FI 40969 “Trust Account Location”

If FI 187557 “Broker Surety Company Name” has a value, the first box in section 7 will be checked. If FI 104236 “Trust Account Number” has a value, the second box in section 7 will be selected.

This change is available for testing on Stage & Stage 2 servers and will take effect on December 23, 2025. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Client Support at 1.800.497.3584.
