Document Updates: Expansion of “VA Request for Determination of Loan Guaranty Eligibility - Unmarried Surviving Spouses” (Cx14056)

“VA Request for Determination of Loan Guaranty Eligibility - Unmarried Surviving Spouses” (Cx14056, VA Form 26-1817) was previously available upon request. This document is now available by default for VA loans when “Print VA Request for Certificate of Eligibility” (FI 109082) is set to “Yes”.
Existing custom print conditions on Cx14056 have not been modified and will continue to be honored.
Multi-Borrower Functionality
Although unlikely, multiple copies of Cx14056 can now print and populate from ConformX to support use of multiple VA home loan entitlements on a single VA loan with multiple surviving spouses. Instead of only printing one copy, the document can now print for each borrower when the corresponding indicator from the URLA 1003 is set to “Yes”:
- Borrower 1 Military Service - Surviving Spouse (FI 123812)
- Borrower 2 Military Service - Surviving Spouse (FI 124222)
- Borrower 3 Military Service - Surviving Spouse (FI 124632)
- Borrower 4 Military Service - Surviving Spouse (FI 125042)
Document Population
Data fields are now programmed to populate each copy of the document by default. Every section of the form can now print (or check) using a corresponding “Borrower” or “Surviving Spouse” field.
Existing custom document programming on Cx14056 has not been modified and will continue to be honored.
