Document Updates: Interest Rate on LA Mortgage Second (Cx485) and ND Mortgage Second (Cx495)

We have updated the Cx485 Louisiana Mortgage Second and Cx495 North Dakota Mortgage Second to remove references to the specific amount of interest on the loan. Previously, these documents differed from our other second mortgage instruments, which state only that interest is expected to be paid without specifying an interest amount.

To ensure greater consistency across our second mortgage documents, the explicit interest rate language has been removed from these two forms. This update aligns them with the standard approach used throughout our second mortgage document library.

These changes are available for testing on Stage & Stage 2 servers and will take effect on December 24, 2025. If you have any questions or concerns about these changes, please contact Client Support at 1.800.497.3584.
