As previously announced, effective November 19, 2025, FHA waived its policy requiring mortgagees to provide borrowers with Form HUD-92900-B “Important Notice to Homebuyers”.
Docutech’s Cx40 “Important Notice to Homebuyers” is a dynamic document which includes the following HUD forms:
- Form HUD-92900-B “Important Notice to Homebuyers”
- Form HUD-50124 “Section 184 Homebuyer Notice Form”
- Form HUD-50124A “Section 184A Homebuyer Notice Form”
It has been determined that:
- Form HUD-50124 “Section 184 Homebuyer Notice Form” is no longer required because it no longer exists as a document offering on the HUD Forms website, and it is no longer listed under the “Lender Forms” section on the Lenders Section 184 Resources website.
- Form HUD-50124A “Section 184A Homebuyer Notice Form” continues to be required because it exists as a document offering on the HUD Forms website, and it continues to be listed under the “Lender Forms” section on the Loan Guarantees for Native Hawaiian Housing (Section 184A)
Consequently, the default print configuration for Cx40 has been updated to print Form HUD-50124A “Section 184A Homebuyer Notice Form” under the following conditions:
Base Type (2274) = FHA
Document Package Type (18215) = Closing
Document Package Type (18215) = Initial Disclosure
Section 184/184A Indicator (32411) = Yes
State Code (2279) = HI
The Form HUD-92900-B “Important Notice to Homebuyers” and the Form HUD-50124 “Section 184 Homebuyer Notice Form” versions of Cx40 will continue to print for clients with custom configurations.
This change is available for testing on Stage & Stage 2 servers and will take effect on December 2, 2025. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Client Support at 1.800.497.3584.
