Document Updates: Notary Language on Various Documents

Jun 2, 2026

Topics: Document Updates

Updated notary acknowledgment language on select forms now supports both state names and “The United States” as valid entity formation locations when a representative signs on behalf of an entity.

Previously, certain notary forms contained hardcoded language intended for state names, which could result in grammatical inconsistencies when “The United States” was provided as the entity formation location. The notary language has been updated to accommodate either value, ensuring the acknowledgment text remains grammatically correct regardless of the location submitted.

The following documents have been updated with this change:

Cx1540 NJ Assignment of Mortgage
Cx22937 Loan Security Agreement – HELOC COOP
Cx4987 Loan Security Agreement – COOP
Cx4523 NJ Assignment INV BLANK
Cx1534 MS Assignment of Deed of Trust
Cx1513 AK Assignment of Deed of Trust

These changes are available for testing on Stage & Stage 2 servers and will take effect on June 9, 2026. If you have any questions or concerns about these changes, please contact Client Support at 1.800.497.3584.
